For example...

We had an amazing chat with a client that is in the beauty industry in Medway- she wanted more leads to grow her business.

But, from our coffee chat learnt she doesn't have a system to track leads & isn't staying in touch with the 400+ clients she'd worked with over the years. Her biggest marketing opportunity to grow her business was to ensure all those clients knew everything she offered!

Her goal is to replace the income she makes from her employed job so she can ditch that & make a living entirely from her business- amazing!

Instantly we knew we could help, she had worked with 400+ people over her years in business, but didn't keep in touch with any of them.

In a situation like that we instantly know we can be helpful - just by giving her a simple system to track all her leads & stay in touch with all those people she'd worked with that only knew of a few of her offerings.

It all starts with a conversation.

We can't help everyone though... I recently spoke to a business owner building Ai Agents for businesses & truth be told he had a system that worked for him so we recommended he stick with it rather than work with us.

2) Start with a system

If we're both happy & get working together, we start by ensuring you have a system that can track all your leads, so you know at a glance what stage they're at & who you need to follow up with.

But, one of the biggest pains is working out a new system. They come with so many features, but where do you start?

Just like our friend who we'll call Smithy, he had a great building company- customers loved his work & he loved the projects he got to work on, but while his work was great he did have a bit of a reputation...

"He's such a nice guy & always does a great job, but you do have to call him a few times to get him round, he often forgets something & has to run to the suppliers to pick something up... every day. We're always happy with the finsh though, can just take a bit of time."

Smithy had been in business 15 years & in all that time had never track a thing, except for the odd note on sandwich packets in his van & job specs on a notepad.

Now imagine how excited he was when we showed him how to track everything, BUT...

Imagine how much he hated getting used to tech- after all, he hated computers hence why we was on the tools.

That's why we create & instal everything, so our clients don't have to worry how to set it al up- they can if they wish, but we're there to do it for them & update it each month as the business evolves & we learn more about each other.

Once the system is working, it's time to get marketing! But without a proper system to track leads, it makes marketing painful & sometimes worthless.

This is why we start with a system, then start at the bottom (of the funnel)

3) Work from the bottom

To help you grow your business, we start at the bottom (of your funnel) & make sure you're maximising how much business you do with your existing client base.

I'll give you a great example of this...

I was at a networking event, an electrician there stood up & thanked a gent there for the business because he'd fixed his extractor fan- then, another person in the room went;

"Oh, I never knew you could fix extractor fans, mine's been broken for months, can you give me a quote?"

I spoke to him after & asked how many clients he'd worked with... 1,000s potentially- how many of them know you could fix extractor fans?

If you dropped an email or message to all of them to offer your help if they have any problems with their extractor fans - how many would come back & say they have that exact problem?

How much revenue would that bring, just in the next month?

How much profit?

Now, what if you looked at every service...

How many of those clients know about Solar installs & battery storage?

What if they all received a similar message in Spring- right when they're thinking about it?

That's why we need to start at the bottom of the funnel, many of us are missing out on huge revenue just by not letting our clients know how else we can help them.

Increase how much a customer is worth to you, then find more of them.

Does every single client you've worked with know every service you offer?

Once they do, then we can really start to help you grow.

4) Make closing leads easier

Once we're seeing results we can get started on helping you close prospects quicker by looking at the client journey & creating content to build trust faster.

Could this help save you time...

For many of us business follows the same process,

New leads need to:

Be aware of how your service could help them solve their problem,

Be schooled on how you can help them to see you as the expert they need,

Be shown how you've helped others just like them.

It helps them get to know you, like you & trust your business.

The best thing?...

Much of that journey is predictable & you could be able to save yourself hours of time every week.

In this part of the process this is where we look at every question your prospect needs answering & every question you need answered.

For example, a client of ours has a garden maintenance business, for his funnel he has a contact form on his website.

Just a basic form to create the least resistance to get enough info to be able to get in touch, but one they fill that...

Another form pops up & asks if they'd like to jump the queue by sharing a few more details about their garden. Once that is filled...

A page appears with numerous video thumbnails- all focused on solving the biggest problems people experience in their garden. Prospects love to watch them- it can become a bit of a spiral.

That business owner spent one afternoon on camera, yet prospects are having multiple touch points building trust in his business.

If they watch a video it triggers them to receive an email asking if they'd like to book a site visit & if they have any other questions- they just need to reply. that sends them a link to book their visit/prompts our client to call them urgently.

These steps are all tracked on the CRM system we created for him.

By the time he arrives in their garden all their questions have been answered, he's given them extra ideas they hadn't even thought about & guided them on questions they didn't realise they need to ask themselves about their garden.

Then, he can take notes, photos & videos of their garden- all stored on the CRM system.

That evening, an email automatically goes out to them thanking them for their time & that their quote will be with them soon. That quote is all created & sent out to the prospect with the ability for them to approve & give their e-signature.

This is all tracked on that system, much of the process is automated & it's all designed to position his business as the solution they need for their garden.

He can now quote 2x more jobs a week & spends half the time arranging it.

Plus- in the nature of constantly improving...

Every further question he receives is noted down & as time progresses we make more content to answer those queries.

5) Generate new leads

Now you have a system to track your leads & a sure process for closing them. Now we can get to find new leads, & now every new lead is worth far more to you.

Imagine this...

Imagine this whole process in your business, you'd be doing more business with every client, you'd close them easier & increase your closing rate.

Now any lead you'd like will be worth far more to your business, that means you can invest more in finding them & experiment more.

Plus, by building the above processes you've learnt more about your clients than you ever knew before so marketing to them has become even easier because you know their exact triggers that will cpture their attention.

That guides your content, your ads, your copy & where you advertise.

Now, it is time to find more leads.

But should we push more on social media?

Which platform?

Google Ads?

Billboards?

Radio?

Leaflets?

All that previous work is what guides us to ensure we get the highest ROI for you.

Think back to step 3- we upsell & cross sell all your additional services- that's a near £0 cost to push a message out to your clients, well the services that gain the highest reponse from your clients... that's what we want to market out to your new audience because clearly it is needed by your ideal client.

But without that low cost messaging first we wouldn't know what would have worked best, so instead it would be expensive & time consuming experiments to find out.
